Just a word to visitors
Today we can see much of the planet through modern technology. Images and descriptions of nearly every hill, valley, artifact and antiquity can be found on the internet and promotional or documentary DVDs. Such things can be helpful to create dreams of far away places, however, there is nothing that can replace a visit. My approach to travel may not work for you but I firmly believe that a visit to any locale can be enriched by some advance planning. So, where do you dream of going?
Since officially retiring from the working world we have been traveling considerably and I have been using the web to document much of that travel. I maintain these journals mainly to keep track of where we have been and when. It also helps avoid arguments about such things. This page is simply the entry point for a collection of sites documenting our travels. Visitors are welcome and we hope you enjoy your browsing these pages. Possibly, you may be encouraged to visit some of the places we have enjoyed.
